SMS credits are your 'currency' for sending SMS (text) messages. Sending one message to a US phone number costs 1 credit. (For example, sending one message to 100 different phones costs 100 credits.) Multimedia messages, which can include more content or images, cost 6 credits to send. You'll need a positive number of SMS credits in order to send any type of SMS message. If you run out of credits at any time before your monthly stipend refreshes, you can always buy more.

It costs credits to interact with your customers and followers, but there are a few occasions where we won't charge you credits: when people text in your mobile keyword to sign up, when they verify their number after entering it on your online sign-up page, or when they text in HELP or STOP.

However, if someone responds to any survey or contest or texts your keyword more than once, each reply or keyword text will cost half a credit (0.5 credits).

Basic SMS Credits allow you to send messages to any US-based phone for the cost of 1 credit per text (or 6 credits per multimedia message), but what about for your customers over seas or across the borders? International Credits function the same as a regular SMS Credit but can be used to send messages to any contacts that are outside the United States, so there's no limit to who you can communicate with! The number of International Credits it takes to send a message is calculated on a by-country basis.

You can always purchase additional credits if ever needed. The pricing structure below applies for all plans. Every month, you'll receive a refreshment of credits based on the plan you get. If you ever need more than what your plan provides, you can purchase a bulk bucket of credits any time! Buckets of credits will never expire while your account is active.

Some months, you may not use all of the credits given to you at the beginning of the month. If you don't, don't worry! Text Club credits roll over into the next month, so you can use them then. If you still have a surplus of credits at the end of the month, they'll continue to roll over into the next month.

Example: Month 1, you receive 275 credits for your Basic plan but only use 200. Month 2, you will start with 350 credits (275 recurring and 75 rolled over from Month 1). You only use 50 credits for Month 2, so you start off with 575 credits for Month 3 (275 recurring and 300 rolled over from Month 2).

No sweat! You can purchase as many additional keywords as you like for $15 per keyword per month, no matter what plan you're on.
